Independent Production Team Seeking African American and/or Latina actresses ages 18-23 for lead role in an independent short film to begin shooting around May. Rapping and/or spoken-word poetry skills a plus. A love for hip hop a plus.
Trudy Velez: Lead role – 18-23 year old (looks younger, like a high school student) African-American or Latina actress. Rapping and/or spoken-word poetry skills and a love for hip hop necessary.
Noelle Velez: Trudy’s younger sister – 18-19 year old Latino and/or African American female, should look like a high school student (about 16 years old) and be able to play tomboyish/butch character.
Chino: Looking for Latino musician/actor, age 40s-50s, who can either play trumpet or saxophone to play supporting role.
