The Mistress – Casting notice posted on auditionsfree.com, casting location: Oakland, CA

FORMAT: HD

ROLES:

MICHAEL (lead) – Late 30s to early 40s, half Asian (Vietnamese), half Caucasian (American). Michael was born in Vietnam during the war and at age 5 was taken by his parents to safety in America. Now, after 30 years, he has returned to Vietnam to be reunited with his half-brother Lanh, who was left behind. Michael is a (somewhat unsuccessful) photographer. He is very Americanized–but he wishes he weren’t.

LANH (lead) – Early to mid-40s, Asian (Vietnamese). Lanh is only a couple of years older than Michael, but he looks much older by now.
