Open Casting call / open auditions for “The Wizard of Oz”
Northern Stage is casting “The Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum.
This is an 8 week contract. Rehearsal begin in mid November and the show runs through January 9th. Holidays off include: Thankgiving, Christmas and New Years. Northern Stage is located in White River Junction, Vermont.
Seeking— Ensemble cast members for various roles including: munchkins, crows, apple trees, ozians, flying monkeys and more.
3 males: no taller than 5′ 7”, ages 20-30, all ethnicities encouraged to submit
3 females: no taller than 5′ 4”, ages 20-30, all ethnicities encouraged to submit
Auditions May 20th from 10am-6pm by appointment only. Please send resume/headshot to casting@northernstage.org. Please prepare 16 bars uptempo Classic Broadway musical number in the style of the show. Compensation: $350/week. Travel and housing is provided. Northern Stage is a LORT D professional regional theater. Equity chorus and principle auditions will be scheduled at a later date.
