Broadway Auditions for “Mamma Mia!”
Mamma Mia! Broadway and national tour, Equity Chorus Call – casting male and female singers who can move well.
Seeking performers for replacements in the Broadway Company and seeking performers for the new Tour Company.
The songs of the pop group ABBA provide the score for this romantic comedy that contrasts the dreams and desires of a young woman about to become a bride with those of her mother, a free spirit of the 70s who never married. “Mamma Mia!” takes place at a taverna on a Greek island. The cast should be quirky and offbeat; we are not seeking obvious musical theater performers. ACTORS who sing and move work best in this show. ALL ARTISTS SHOULD HAVE A ROCK SOUND AND BE ABLE TO MOVE WELL. We are seeking performers of all races and ethnicities for these roles.
Ensemble Singers:
Seeking strong contemporary singers, early 20s – mid 40s, of all races, ethnic backgrounds, and sizes who move well to comprise the ensemble and understudy the principals. All should have a great rock sound and be able to move well. Also seeking the following featured chorus parts and understudies:
Ali:
18-25. Sophie’s friend. Impulsive and fun. Should contrast to Lisa and Sophie. Should sing and dance well. Also seeking Ali understudy.

Pepper:
Early to mid-20s. Sky’s friend. Helps run the hotel. Charming, loves women, always flirting. Must be a good mover/dancer, able to do Russian split jumps. Acrobatic skills a plus. Baritone/tenor. Also seeking Pepper understudy.
Eddie:
Early to mid-20s. Another friend of Sky’s and hotel worker. Laid-back, easygoing. Also a mover/dancer role. Baritone/tenor. Also seeking Eddie understudy.
