CASTING
Kangas Kahn Films is casting its new film “The Garden of Hedon” to be shot over 14 days in October 2010(exact dates to be determined). The film will be non-union but main roles will be paid. All roles will be provided with meals and credit.
Auditions will be held on Sunday August 22nd from 10am-5pm at:

However, director Kevin Kangas will also be at the auditions for Joe Ripple’s film “Jebediah” on July 24th and 25th looking for talent–so this could be your chance to skip the open call and go right to callbacks. Information on that audition can be found at:

We’re seeking experienced actors only please. Headshots with resumes are expected(if you have already sent one, you will not need to bring another).

If we think you may fit a part, we will reply back with details about attending the audition.
If you would like to do a video audition, please send an email with your headshot with the title VIDEOTAPE AUDITION in the subject and we’ll send you any sides we think are appropriate.
Note: These descriptions are purposefully vague on character issues. Any non-specific characteristics means we are open to different looks/races.
Owen – 40’s-50’s, white male, police detective, smart but not all that tough
Tom – 30’s, white male, friendly and helpful
Geoffrey – 20’s, white male, handsome but letting himself go grooming-wise
Maria – 18-26, female, but must look young.
Oscar – over 30, male, BIG guy, imposing, likes to drink and can get belligerent
Grant – over 40, male, well-dressed polite gentleman
Allen – over 30, male, guy who likes to wear women’s clothing, but is not a transvestite(he doesn’t act like a woman)
Leon – over 30, male. Reverend. Likes to spread the Word, but isn’t pushy.
Danny – 30s, male. A gambler.
Servant – Male, Over 6’6 if we can get it. Will possibly need a life-mask created.
Peter – Male, 20’s, open
Wendy – Female, 20’s open
Architect – Male, over 40, distinguished looking
Brian – 20’s, male, open
Jessie – 20’s, female, open, vivacious and friendly
Breasts – Female, Flirty woman with a lot of cleavage, and she uses it to her advantage.
Rusty – male, kinda sleazy, open
Carla – female, open
Opal – female, open
Rachel – female, open
Stud – male, 20’s, good looking
Extras will be needed every night, and many will be featured. We’re looking for people with interesting/alternative lifestyles that can add a visual flair to this “Garden”.
