Casting Call for Student Film called “Home” in Los Angeles / Pasadena
This is a non-paying gig for a student project in LA at the Pasadena City College. The film will be done in 2 languages, English and Spanish and is about a immigrant gardener living in Los Angeles who is dealing with immigration laws.
Seeking the following:
Oscar (lead): 40’s, dark skinned Mexican. Proud and hardworking, Oscar is bewildered by a world that is looking to shut him out. BI-LINGUAL IS A MUST
Fabian (lead): late 20’s, Dark-skinned Mexican. Loyal and concerned, Fabian watches as Oscar self-destructs. BI-LINGUAL IS A MUST
WINO (supporting): 45-60, white. Smarmy and condescending, the Wino plays on Oscar’s insecurities
MR BRIAR (supporting) 30’s, White. Callous and Dismissive, Briar is the home owner who fires Oscar and throws him off his property.
Looking to shoot May 25-27th, with two late night shoots
