Prepare 16 bars of a song of your choice. Please bring your own sheet music and/or a CD. Director Frank Borrelli suggests that auditionees avoid songs from South Pacific, and instead choose songs from elsewhere in the Rodgers & Hammerstein songbook, or songs from the golden age of musical theater (1930s-1960s).

Cold readings from the script will also be required. Selected auditionees may be asked to sing songs from the play. Dance/movement may be required; dress comfortably.

Rehearsals will begin in late February (with principals beginning work immediately after being cast). Four rehearsals each week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Not every actor will be called to every rehearsal.

Performance dates are May 5, 6, 7, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22.

Please contact director Frank Borrelli at fb1019@gmail.com with any questions. Visit www.suffieldplayers.org for further information.
