Child auditions are currently being held for the film “Frustrated”. The films producers are seeking young actors and actresses 9-13 to play various roles in the film.
MICHAEL: Male, 9-13 years old. An only child who loves to cite his encyclopedic knowledge of diseases. Although he can sometimes be a know-it-all, he is compassionate, thoughtful, and possesses a true excitement for exploration and discovery. He lives with his mother most of the time, but always looks forward to spending time with his father. Michael suffers from constipation and eczema, and he isn’t embarrassed to talk about it;
CHRISTINA: Female, 9-13 years old. A good student and a good friend, with a love of nature shows, like those on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel. She is happy to listen to a friend’s problems, and she knows how to stand up for herself when necessary;
KEVIN: Male, 12-15 years old. Tall for his age, Kevin is the star of his middle school basketball team. He doesn’t do very well in school, and mostly hangs around with his friend Marty. He acts tough and likes to break the rules;
MARTY: Male, 12-15 years old. Marty is short and has a peach fuzz mustache. He doesn’t say much, and he likes to hang around his friend Kevin. He is a bully and likes to torment the younger kids at his school.
Frustrated is an NYU Thesis film that will be shot on location in the Boston area, and will travel the US and international festival circuit upon its completion.
