`Avei`a is a new dance troupe that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Hawaii, Tahiti, and other Polynesian islands of the South Pacific, through an exciting blend of Hula, Ori Tahiti, and modern dance.
We are seeking talented, committed, and energizing male and female dancers with a professional attitude, who pick up quickly and have a desire to learn and train in Polynesian dance forms for upcoming and future performances. Modern dance experience is desired and dancers of all ethnic backgrounds are strongly encouraged. A great command of hip mobility and isolation is a plus for female dancers.
