DANCER AUDITIONS FOR WORLD TOUR, NATIONAL TOUR, & VEGAS SHOW
Dancer Auditions: PRESS RELEASE & CASTING CALL
LAS VEGAS, April 27, 2010 – HALO Music & Media Group will conduct auditions from 2:00p.m. – 6:00pm Saturday, May 1st, 2010 in Las Vegas for hip-hop/pop dancers seeking to be showcased in a first-tier R&B/Hip-Hop World Tour, US Tour, and Burlesque Hip-Hop Show. Auditions will be held at The Paramount, 8610 S Maryland Pkwy, Las Vegas 89123.
The tour will generate regional and national exposure with the opportunity for international exposure for the right dancers. This high-level professional tour and some rehearsals will be taped as a part of a reality series and documentary for a major music media network. Join us on Saturday May 1st for the audition of a lifetime! R&B superstar auditions dancers for her upcoming world tour, US tour, reality series, and Las Vegas-based show. Former dancers that have worked with this artist have gone on to perform and tour with Lady Gaga, P. Diddy, and star in MTV’s Taking the Stage. Bring your talent & make sure you stand out!
Tour organizers are seeking dancers who excel in choreography in the style of Beyonce, Janet Jackson and Britney Spears. Dancers MUST be able to rehearse and perform in Las Vegas from May 2010 – September 2010. National tour dates will begin during summer, international tour dates in the fall. To be considered for the World Tour you must have a valid passport. You do not have to have a passport to audition for the US tour or the show.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
? Auditions open to both male and female dancers.
? Prepare a 60-second dance piece in the style of hip-hop or pop dancing in the style
of as Beyonce, Janet Jackson or Britney Spears.
? Must bring photo ID; dancers encouraged to bring headshots, resumes and press
kits to the audition.
? Stereo will be supplied for dancers’ use, dancers MUST BRING their OWN music on
CD
? Choreographed piece will be taught by the head choreographer
? All females must bring heels and must be able to dance full out in stilettos
? All females must be at least 5’7″ tall in heels.
? All dancers must be 21 and over
? All males must be willing and body-able to dance shirt-less
? All females must be willing and body-able to dance in lingerie-style costumes
CALLBACKS WILL BE HELD IMMEDIATELY ALL DANCERS MUST BE PREPARED TO STAY
COMPENSATION: Performances are paid, rates based on dancer experience.
