OnStage announces auditions for the Tom Smith 2-act farce, Drinking Habits, directed by Scott J. Barnard.
The Sisters of Perpetual Sewing are in jeopardy of their convent shutting down. For years they have kept the doors open by making and selling wine to the local village. Their enterprise is conducted without the knowledge or approval of Mother Superior, who would NEVER sanction such a venture.
Their wine wins a major award and two newspaper reporters (and former fiancés) show up to search for the vintners. The local priest fears his replacement is being sent from Rome. Chaos ensues with mistaken identities, additional nuns and priests, a ditzy groundskeeper and the ever-present “mouthwash of the Devil.”
