Inverse Theater is looking for one male dancer and one female dancer for its newest production, a dance/theater piece called It Was a Setup, to appear in FringeNYC in August 2010. Rehearsals will be light in April/May, then more intensive in June/July. Dancers should be comfortable speaking some onstage. Inverse Theater has won three Excellence Awards in past FringeNYC shows, “Best Downtown Theater Company” (2001) from The NY Press, and a NY Innovative Theatre Caffe Cino Award. We are an innovative, experimental downtown theater company looking for dancers interested in working with talented, ambitious artists on challenging, inspiring experiences.
Writing/direction is by Kirk Bromley and choreography/direction by Leah Schrager. Please see http://leahschrager.com/setup.html for further information.
