Detroit Model Open Call for Fashion Show
Open Casting call for Detroit / Michigan models who would like to appear in Fashion In Detroit, Michigan’s annual fashion event.
The fashion show is seeking currently undiscovered models to walk the runways. The Fashion in Detroit show will be held Oct. 22-23, 2010 at MotorCity Casino Hotel. Casting for the show will be held at the same hotel this weekend.
The show is casting male and female models who are 14 to 30 years of age. Modeling experience or fashion runway experience is not a requirement.
There are height and size requirements as follow:
female models must be at least 5’7″ and wear a dress size no larger than a 6.
male models must be at least 5’10″, with a jacket size no greater than a 44.
Both male and female models are expected to attend the casting call in form fitting attire and women must be wearing heels.
Both male and female models must bring a headshot with them. The headshot does not need to be a professional one. If you have a modeling resume, bring it as well. The Detroit model auditions are open to the public.

Fashion In Detroit is a fashion show that is held annually, The project is co-created by Project Runway’s Joe Faris, along with Karen Buscemi, K’Kio Hardin, Lians Jadan and Leslie Ann Pilling. Fashion in Detroit is meant to put the fashion spotlight on Michigan, help locally based designers and the Michigan fashion community. This year’s Fashion In Detroit event will be held at the MotorCity Casino Hotel, in Detroit, Michigan. The event showcases collections from local and national designers and encompasses 12 runways full of fashion. The fashion industry event brings in hundreds of fashion buyers, VIP’s and industry pros.
