Striving Artists Theatre Company will be holding auditions for their Christmas variety show.
Striving Artists invites you to participate in our second annual Christmas variety show, consisting of original scenes and monologues, with some traditional and contemporary holiday music. The show will feature original pieces by William Donnelly, Tofer Carlson, F. Dutton Mulvehill, Greg Luzitano, Len Sousa, Mary Beth Luzitano, Jeremy Funke, Jeff Desautels, Matt Luzitano, and Amanda Shaffer.
Performances are Saturday, December 11th at 7pm and Sunday, December 12th at 2pm at The First Church in Salem, 316 Essex St, Salem, MA.
The audition will consist of cold readings from the script. If you want to perform a song, come prepared with sixteen bars (we will NOT have an accompanist available for audition, so be prepared to sing a-Capella). If you play an instrument,we plan to have the cast members accompany each other’s songs, though this is not a requirement.
