Paragon Theatre Announces Auditions – Tenth Anniversary, 2011 Season

Auditions for the following performances:

Paragon Theatre in Denver, CO, will hold auditions for its tenth anniversary, 2011 season at Kim Robards Dance Theatre, 1387 S. Santa Fe Dr., Denver (in the Foothills Lighting building, corner entrance), on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 10am – 4pm for male roles and Sunday October 24th from 11am-2pm for female roles. Call backs will be held Saturday October 30, 2011.

Casting for the following roles is OPEN; rehearsals are typically Mon –Thur.
7pm-10pm; performances on Thur., Fri. and Sat. evenings.

Kent – male age 20-27
Carly – female age 20-27
Steph – female age 20-27
Rehearsals start December 13, 2010
Performance dates January 29, 2011-February 26, 2011

The Pride by Alexi Kaye Campbell:
Oliver- male age 30-45, British accent
One Actor to play three roles, Doctor/Man/Peter – male age 30-45, British accent
Rehearsals start March 28, 2011
Performance dates May 7, 2011-June 4, 2011

A Lie of the Mind by Sam Shepard:
Frankie – male age 30-40
Rehearsals start June 6, 2011
Performance dates July 16, 2011-August 13, 2011
Betrayal by Harold Pinter:
Waiter – male age 20-40
Rehearsals start August 22, 2011
Performance dates October 1, 2011-October 29, 2011
Auditioners are asked to bring a headshot/resume and be prepared to read from sides from the script. Sides can be emailed, upon request, in advance. While only one audition slot will be allotted per person, you may be considered for multiple roles. Paragon is unable to audition equity actors at this time.
