Roberta Jean is looking for professional dance artists to work with for the research and development of a new dance work, Group hug. Group hug is intended to be both a celebration and a dismantling of shared energy.

There will be two separate auditions at:
Studio 2 Dance City Temple Street Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4BR Sunday 13th June starting at 11am (Warm up in the social space) & Studio 2 Moving Arts Base 134 Liverpool Road London N1 1LA Wednesday 16th of June starting at 10am (The studio will be open from 9.30)
There will be no class and all artists are expected to independently warm themselves up thoroughly prior to the audition. (Please note that a space will be open for half an hour before starting) The audition will consist of improvisation tasks and several short proposals for creating movement.
Artist’s chosen will initially be contracted for paid work from the 12th – 31st of July 2010, with a view to continuing, completing and touring the work later in 2010-11. Research will be carried out in both Newcastle upon Tyne and London.
