Music Theatre of Connecticut’s School of Performing Arts will hold auditions for Fairfield County’s new show choir – “MTGlee” – on Monday and Tuesday, June 7 & 8 from 4-8pm.
Auditions are by appointment only, and will take place at Music Theatre of Connecticut, 246 Post Road East in Westport.
Casting 20 strong student singers/dancers (10 men, 10 women) who are entering 6th grade through entering 12th grade. MTGlee will be a county-wide show choir and students from all Fairfield County towns are encouraged to attend.
The ensemble will be the opening act for J. Geils at the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts on the banks of the Saugatuck River in downtown Westport on Sunday, July 4 at 8pm.
Rehearsals will take place at Music Theatre of Connecticut School of Performing Arts in Westport daily from Saturday, June 26 through Saturday, July 3. Rehearsal times to be announced at auditions.
