Ebenezer Scrooge-Main Character, many lines, acting experience needed. Must be a male over the age of 30. This character also sings in the following songs: “People” (solo/chorus), “The Good Times” (trio), “This Time” (solo). Vocal range (C below middle C to F above middle C)

Bob Cratchit-Nephew of Scrooge, father of Tiny Tim. Very important supporting role. Adult male, many lines, sings with the family song: “Yes, I Believe” Vocal range (Eb below middle C to Eb above middle C)

Mrs. Cratchit-Mother of Tiny Tim. Lines in Cratchet home scene, sings with the family song: “Yes, I Believe” Vocal range (Middle C to high C), Also sings with the townspeople.

Tiny Tim-A sick young boy, a few lines, must sing 2 solos. “Someday” and “Yes, I Believe”. Vocal range: (A below middle C to high D above middle C)

Mrs. Cobbler-Scrooge’s maid, Lines in 3 scenes, Must be an adult woman. No singing required.

Marley-Scrooge’s dead partner, adult male, lines in 1 scene. No singing required.

Merchant Winston-Adult male, few lines. Also singing with the townspeople.

Merchant Chatsworth-Adult male, few lines. Also singing with the townspeople.

Beatrice (Caroler #1)- Adult female, few lines/line at Fezziwig party/sings with townspeople.

Agnes (Caroler #2)-Adult female, few lines opening scene/line at Fezziwig party/sings with townspeople.

Fred (Caroler #3)-Adult male, few lines, opening scene/Cratchit scene/street sweeper/Fezziwig party/sings with townspeople.

Woman Solicitor-Could be male or female, few lines, sings with townspeople.

Young Scrooge-Young boy or teen, lines in school scenes and sings a solo. Vocal range (Middle C to the C above middle C)

Young Belle-Young girl or teen, lines in school scene. Sings with children.

Children-Small solos possible during school scene: “Christmas Is”. Also sing with Townspeople.

Students-3 lines during school scene, sings with the children’s song.

Teacher-Adult male or Female, lines in 2 scenes and sings a solo with the children: “Christmas Is”. Vocal range: (F below middle C to the C above middle C)

Lad-One line in School scene and a few lines at the end.

Young Adult Scrooge-Young adult male, lines in 1 scene and sings a solo/duet. Vocal range (Low C below middle C to E above middle C)

Young Adult Belle-Young adult female, lines in 1 scene and sings a solo/duet. Vocal range (B below middle C to high D above middle C)

Mr. Fezziwig-Belle’s dad, adult male, a few lines. Sings a duet. Vocal range: (C below middle C to middle C)

Mrs. Fezziwig-Belle’s mom, adult female, no lines. Sings a duet. Vocal range: (middle C to high C)
