The Illinois Theatre Center of Park Forest will hold open auditions for its Summerfest musical, CABARET by Kander & Ebb, on Tuesday, May 31 and Wednesday, June 1, from 7 to 9 PM. This Tony Award winning classic is set in Berlin in 1930, and depicts the rise of the Nazi movement as seen through the eyes of an American writer. There are numerous roles for men and women age 18 and up. Please prepare one song (preferably traditional musical comedy) and bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Dancers should wear appropriate shoes and clothes for a dance audition. The production runs eight performances, July 22 through 31.
