Disney is now casting dancers for Disney Parks Disneyland Tokyo and DisneySea Park

Auditions for dancers will be held in Los Angeles – casting male and female dancers for various shows, please see full casting call below.

Disney Parks Talent Casting, in association with Oriental Land Company (OLC), is seeking Dancers for an incredible array of live entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park. Performers bring exciting, up close entertainment to guests through shows that range from a ’40s Big Band Revue, to a visually stunning live show celebrating the mystic rhythms of the jungle, to a rousing, fun-filled musical featuring Cinderella, Snow White, Prince Charming and many others. Six month or longer contracts begin February/March 2012.

Performers receive $740 – $760 (US dollars) per week (depending on role and show), per diem, round trip travel, private apartments, 5-day work weeks, and the chance to experience one of the world’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.

Seeking the following roles: Ballet/Jazz Dancers: Males 5’9”+, Females 5’3”-5’6”, to portray classic Disney Princes & Princesses such as Cinderella, Snow White and Prince Charming in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical revue, must be trained in both ballet and jazz with exceptional stage presence and dynamic performance ability. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem) Male Ballet Dancers: 5’5”-5’8”, slender build, strong ballet technique, portrays Peter Pan in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical highlighted by a magical flight across the sky by none other than Peter Pan himself, must not have a fear of heights. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem) Athletic Dancers with Ethnic Look: Males 5’6”+, Females 5’1”-5’7”, ethnic looking, athletic with strong physiques for a lavish multi-sensory production exploring the “Mystic Rhythms” of a tropical rainforest, females also do aerial work and must have strong abdominal/back muscles and beautiful port de bras. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem) Male Jazz/Tap Dancers: 5’9”+, strong solo tappers trained in jazz with exceptional charisma and commanding stage presence for “Big Band Beat”, a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Broadway meets Big Band Swing, especially seeking African-heritage dancers. ($760 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem) Audition Location: Debbie Reynolds Studios 6514 Lankershim Blvd. N. Hollywood, CA 91606 Sign-in: 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM – Late applicants will not be accepted. Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and willing to relocate to Tokyo for the terms of their individual contracts.

Please bring a copy of your current photo and resume. Dancers: Wear appropriate form fitting attire, showing your silhouette. Wear proper dance shoes, no bare feet; street shoes are not allowed in the studio. Be warmed-up and ready to begin at the listed time. Please note, height requirements are strictly adhered to.
