BG Productions is casting I’m Not Single, a film about a young couple, Maya and Adam, who loathe each other because they are forced into an arranged marriage by their parents. Maya’s ailing grandmother wants her to marry as soon as possible despite the fact that she already has a steady boyfriend, Dani, whom she loves and planned to marry previously. With the arranged marriage looming closer, Dani has to try and figure out how to stop from Maya been taken away from him forever. Richard Foxx, dir.; Richard Hopkins, exec. prod. Rehearsals begin immediately in the UK for all shortlisted candidates; shooting June 2012, for 21 days in Malaysia & other regions.
Seeking—Adam: male, 25-30, any ethnicity, proud, with a great sense of humor, and a tough masculine presence;
Maya: female, 25-30, any ethnicity, Dani’s girlfriend, has an appealing aura, sassy and sexy, good with a little comedy, and with showing deep intense emotional attachment.
Note: Union membership (which may require dues) is required for all roles.
