Alchemist Multimedia is currently casting for a short film entitled Graduation.
Film Concept:
No matter what side of the law you’re on, everyone in the drug game has to grow up quickly, especially if they want to graduate into the big leagues. When a young drug dealer’s ultimate test of allegiance to a crime boss goes horribly wrong, two detectives’ lives collide with two drug dealers’ and the line between loyalties suddenly becomes a deadly blur.
We’re currently casting for the following roles:
SPARKS – A veteran homicide detective trying to bestow hard-earned knowledge on rookie partner. Has been trying to take down local gang boss for years. Male, late 40s or older. Black, White or Latino.
OWNER – The trusting proprietor of a bodega that is the target of a robbery. He arrives afterward to talk with the police. Male over 50. Must be able to play Mediterranean, Middle Eastern or Russian immigrant (accent).
