The Gap and Gap kids is holding an open casting call for kids.
Are you a Gap Kid? Are you talented, cute, sweet and have your own great style? If so, the Gap wants to see you at their casting call and tryouts for GapKids.
Auditions for stylish kids – The Gap is looking for girls between 6 and 10 years old.
Are you a sweet snowflake with a big bright smile? Can you dance and sing with your own cute style?
The Gap will be holding the open call at their Fifth Avenue store on Friday, the 14th of October. Girls and their families are invited to attend and meet with the Gap Stores casting directors.
The casting call is for a GapKids Christmas special called “I want Candy” – There is one spot left for the video and the Gap is seeking girls who can sing and dance to fill that final spot in the Christmas special. The video will be launched in November to be run through the holiday season online.
The girl chosen at the event will star in the “I Want Candy” video alongside viral music sensation Maria Aragon.
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian! Kids will not be allowed to audition without their parent being present with them.
Casting directors are also requesting that girls bring a headshot or photo with them to the auditions. The photos will be kept by the casting directors for GapKids and will not be returned.
The fitting, rehearsal and shoot dates for the video are October 16th and 17th. The lucky girl chosen to be in the video will need to have a work permit for the Sate of New York. You can get more information here.

There aren’t any Gap Kids contests running now. The online photo is for the baby modeling contests / Gap Kids modeling contest, when they do them.
Will you ever cast in Houston, Tx for baby gap? My boys are good looking kids. I always think they got the babygap look 🙂
