Children’s Choir now auditioning for new singers – Children ages 6 to 17

The International Children’s Choir will hold auditions for students 6-17. The choir is noted for its authentic international costumes and multicultural musical programs. This fall, the ICC will perform with the Kronos String Quartet at Kingsbury Hall, for the head of the state of Samoa. Classes begin Aug. 31.

The International Children’s Choir (ICC), founded and directed by Dr. Kathy Sorensen, is a distinguished choral ensemble based in Utah (USA). The ICC performs in over 40 languages for dignitaries and heads of state from around the world, national and international conventions, special events, seminars, workshops, and conferences. Singers wear colorful authentic native costumes representing individual countries, symbolizing diversity, peace and unification through songs. Vocal training and music education are provided for all members. They rehearse in Bountiful/North Salt Lake, Murray/Sandy, and Sugarhouse/Salt Lake City, Utah. Students come from all across the Wasatch Front to be in this great chorus of the world.
