“A Little Fire” is a short narrative film about two generations of Filipino immigrants that struggle to find self worth in a menial world.
We’re having an open casting call at the following dates and locations:
San Francisco: Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 12pm – 5pm

We are casting for the following roles:
JUN
sex: male age: mid to late 30′s ethnicity: Filipino-American
He has been living in the states since the 1990′s and works as a custodian at a community college.
must speak fluent Tagalog and English
BOY
sex: male age: early 20′s ethnicity: Filipino (recent immigrant)
He just moved to the states. He is Jun’s brother in-law. He lives with Evelyn (his sister) and Jun.
must speak fluent Tagalog, heavy accent is a plus
EVELYN
sex: female age: late 20′s early 30′s ethnicity: Filipino-American
She has been living in the states since the 1990′s and works as a cosmetologist. He is married to Jun and is Boy’s sister.
must speak fluent Tagalog and English
BERT
sex: male age: 50′s – 60′s ethnicity: Filipino-American
He works part time as a janitor at the community college. He is Jun’s friend.
BOSS
sex: male age: early to mid 30′s ethnicity: OPEN
He is Jun, Boy, and Bert’s department supervisor.
