The Theatre program at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ will be presenting this musical in their spring 2012 season and is looking to cast the following roles:
BABY JUNE: 8-12 YEAR OLD: NEEDS TO DANCE &TAP. GYMNASTICS HELPFUL.
BABY LOUISE: 10-12 YEAR OLD TOMBOY.
BALLOON GIRL: 10-12 YEAR OLD, DANCE TRAINING USEFUL.
4 NEWS BOYS: 9-12 YEARS OLD, SONG AND DANCE TRAINED.
Rehearsals begin January 30th. Performance dates are March 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st at 8pm; Sunday, April 1st at 2:30 and an extension on Friday, April 13th, Saturday, April 14th and a final matinee on Sunday, April 15th. There is also a High School matinee on Friday, March 30th at 11am.
Preliminary auditions will take place on Saturday, January14th at FDU in Madison. Please come prepared with 16 bars of an up tempo musical theater song and a short dance routine if appropriate. To set up an appointment, contact Bri:
