We are very excited to announce that Sonoro Women’s Choir and will be holding auditions for new members on Tuesday evening September 20th from 7:00-9:00pm at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Lakewood.
Our Christmas program will feature music by:
Benjamin Britten
Ralph Vaughan Williams
Maurice Durufle
John Rutter
as well as a new composition by cutting edge Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo included in a sound file here

The audition process is simple and painless. Come in and sing one prepared piece with our accompanist. This can be an art song, aria, folk song, hymn or broadway piece (head voice only please, no belting). Then we will run you through a few voice placement exercises a quick skills assesment and the you are done. There is a $10 accompanist fee if you are new to the choir or have not been a member in the last year.
