Survivor Open Casting Call 2012

Tryouts for CBS Survivor

Survivor is holding another open casting call for the upcoming 2012 season of the hit reality competition survival show.

Can You Outwit, Outlast and outplay your competition? If you can, you may be able to win the huge $1,000,000 prize for being the last one standing.

Survivor typically casts 16 to 20 people, takes them to a very remote location and splits the group up into tribes that compete against each other. Every episode the tribe votes someone off the show. This goes on until there are only 2 people left and one of them will take home the $1,000,000. Throughout the show, the players have to complete physical and mental challenges as well as create alliances to try to outplay the rest and stay in the game.

CBS Survivor casting directors are coming to Michigan to find someone from the Detroit area to participate. The casting call will be held by WWJ-TV on December 7th in Westland.

Survivor is casting local adventurers, ages 18 and up, to represent Detroit on an upcoming season of Survivor on CBS.

This is the only casting call that is scheduled to be held in Michigan.

Each person will need to bring a signed video release form, along with a valid United States driver’s license or passport. Each person will be videotaped by WWJ-TV and will have one minute to explain why they should be a contestant on Survivor. Video Release Form and Eligibility Requirements can be found at www.CBSDetroit.com.
