Auditions for new Sitcom “Better Than Unemployed”

TV Pilot / Situation Comedy (Sitcom) now casting actors and actresses for various roles.

A new sitcom filming in the Sacramento area is now casting. The new sitcom will be filming this spring in Sacramento. “Better Than Unemployed” is about Sam, a lady with an annoying job and more so annoying coworkers. Every new day at work becomes her worst day ever, but hey… as bad as it might be, it’s better that unemployed.

Every episode will be a different trade show and every trade show will have it’s own disaster. The pilot episode will have a beer convention that gets picketed by protesters.

Meet Sam, the new Event Director of the Sacramento Convention Center and star of Better Than Unemployed?, who finds herself in a position where her boss is only interested in his 23 year-old stripper girlfriend, her assistant is perpetually on Valium, and she finds herself dealing with event disaster, after disaster, after disaster.

There is an open casting call scheduled in Roseville, CA for May 7th 2012. Actors that cannot attend the open casting call may submit a headshot, resume and reel through email.

    Acting is, to be honest, something I have quite recently began having an interest in. To be honest others have said I would definitely have talent in it but would like to get the opinion of professionals. I would love to get some pointers if nothing else thank you.
