An international production company is organizing an international belly dance competition that will be shown on a major TV network is seeking female artists.
The competition is held in six different categories:
Rising Star Solo
Less than 3 years of performance experience. This category covers bellydance solo performances from the following styles: Egyptian Raks Sharqi, American Cabaret, Turkish, Lebanese, and also folkloric dances from the Middle East and North Africa.
Professional Solo
3 or more years of performance experience. This category covers bellydance solo performances from the following styles: Egyptian Raks Sharqi, American Cabaret, Turkish, Lebanese, and also folkloric dances from the Middle East and North Africa.
Troupe
This category covers performances by two or more people dancing together. All Bellydance styles welcome: Egyptian Raks Sharqi, American Cabaret, Turkish, Lebanese, and folkloric dances from the Middle East and North Africa. Category
Fusion Troupe
This category covers two or more people performing any dance style fused with Bellydance, including but not limited to ATS (American Tribal Style), Tribal Fusion, Bollywood, Flamenco, Hip-Hop, Salsa, Theatrical, Ballroom, etc.
Fusion Solo
This category covers a solo performance of any dance style fused with Bellydance, including but not limited to Tribal/Tribal Fusion, Bollywood, Flamenco, Hip-Hop, Salsa, Theatrical, Ballroom, etc.
People’s Choice
The People’s Choice Award will be awarded to the contestant in the entire competition with the most votes.
The five finalist of each category will be awarded prizes and lucrative contracts with top media networks.
Previous experience is not required but preferred. If you are interested, please send a full profile of yourself that include a number of pictures taken from different angles and showing face as well as whole body. Please state the category you wish to apply for. You may apply for more than one category.
