Tryouts for Comics and comedians in NYC
NBC will be holding an open casting call for comics in NYC. This is not a show that will televised, rather it is an opportunity for comics to be seen by the people who do cast the shows.
Comics must have a 5 minute routine that they have polished.
The auditions will only have time to see 100 comics and will be a first come first served basis. Comics will perform a 1 minute audition and some will be selected for a callback in which they will perform a longer set. Those chosen by producers will be featured in a live comedy showcase.
This is an opportunity to show your comedic talents to casting directors and producers to be considered for upcoming projects and future comedy castings.
This open call is for comics of diverse backgrounds who are serious about being funny.
