is excited to announce OPEN AUDITIONS for our
blockbuster summer production of
LEGALLY BLONDE, THE MUSICAL!
Audition dates: April 14, 7:00-9:30 p.m., April 15, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Audition location: St. Mary’s School, 1706 West Main Street, Belleville
SIX PERFORMANCES: July 13, 14, 20, 21 at 7:30 p.m., July 15 & 22 at 2:00 p.m
Performance location: Belleville East High School Performing Arts Center
Omigod, you guys! Take A Bow is “like totally” producing LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL for our blockbuster summer musical! Performances will be in the beautiful state-of-the-art, 736-seat Belleville East High School Performing Arts Center. We were the first non-professional theatre company in the two-state metro area to secure a contract to produce this show! This will be a huge production with a very large ensemble cast, so many talented singers, dancers and actors are needed!
Auditions will be held in St. Mary’s School basement and will be as stress-free as possible! We want you to be comfortable so you’ll do your best and have an enjoyable experience. You will be interviewed briefly, asked to read from the script, and your singing and dance ability will be assessed if you are interested in a singing and/or dancing role. Please come prepared with the following:
+A head shot, preferably in color. It will be returned to you at your request. If you don’t have one, your photo will be taken when you register. (Those who have auditioned for a previous TABS production do not need to bring another head shot.)
+A prepared song, preferably from a musical, approximately 32 measures. You may sing without accompaniment if you like. If you bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided.
+Shoes and clothing suitable for movement and dancing.
If you desire a speaking part or “extra” role only, you will not be required to sing or dance.
You may also request a singing-only or dancing-only audition.

VOLUNTEERS AND TECHNICAL CREWS: We welcome volunteers to assist with various technical crews–set construction, stage crew, props, costumes, lights, sound, make-up; and performance help–ushers, box office and concessions workers.

This all singing, all dancing, feel-good musical comedy will be the highlight of your summer! The verdict? This much fun shouldn’t be legal!
