CASTING CALL FOR “MAQUETTE 1:1000,”

Casting extras for 3 scenes in “Maquette 1:1000,” 20-minute short, narrative MFA student thesis film (Temple University). Shooting days will be March 3rd and 9th, 2012, in Philadelphia, PA.
“Maquette 1:1000” talks about loss, displacement, and – in a sense – separation. It follows the actions and consequences of the main female protagonist, Lan, who has to deal with personal loss in two different contexts: Taiwan and Philadelphia.

MARCH 3rd, 2012 scene (4-hour shoot):
Casting for 2 women and 2 kids — Women: ages 25-35, African American. Children: boys and girls, ages 6-9, African American.
Also seeking — 3 adult men: ages 25-45, all ethnicities.

MARCH 9th, 2012 scene (8-hour shoot):
Casting for — 5 Grad Student-Age men and women: 20-30, all ethnicities.

Please note: Philadelphia residents only. Preferably nonunion talent. Food and beverages are provided; unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide any compensation.
