First pilot of it’s kind featuring a transgender woman as the protagonist.
Looking for cast with dedication to a continually changing and growing project over a long period of time.
No compensation at this time. Pay rate may change with the possibility of studio house green-light.

TRADE: SUPPORTING. 35, ALL-AMERICAN GOOD
LOOKS, VERY PROFESSIONAL, STABLE AND INDEPENDENT GUY.
POSSIBLY AN SMART-PHONE APP DEVELOPER, OR SOME SORT OF
ENTREPRENEUR. HAS BEEN DATING ANU(ANEESH SHETH) FOR 6 WEEKS. SINCE THE TWO
HAVE NOT BEEN SEXUALLY INVOLVED HE DOES NOT KNOW SHE IS
TRANSGENDER. ANU REVEALS THIS TO HIM AT THE CLIMAX (LAST
SHOT) OF THE PILOT.
MEREDITH: LEAD. 20, YOUNG TRANSWOMAN AT
THE BEGINNING STAGES OF HER TRANSITION. PURE, INNOCENT,
OFTEN NAIVE, POSSIBLY A VIRGIN. LOOKING FORWARD TO TURNING
21 AND ‘LIVING ON THE EDGE’ AS SHE CALLS IT. DETERMINED AND
FREE-WILLED, SHE LOOKS TO ANU AS A BIG SISTER, SUPPORT
SYSTEM AND ROLE MODEL. UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT AT BERKELEY OF
HUMAN SEXUALITY AND GENDER STUDIES. SHE AND ANU MET WHEN SHE
VERBALLY ATTACKED ANU AT A JOB FAIR AT THE UNIVERSITY.
