The Hobbit is casting extras again. Peter Jackson’s new movie is looking for a few ‘short’ men, elves and some other types in New Zealand. If everyone always told you you look like an Elf and you live in NZ, this is your big chance to be a part of ‘The Hobbit“.

The casting call is for The Hobbit which is being shot as a 2 part film. The first film of the 2 will be released in December 2012 and the second may be released the following year in 2013.
Here is what the producers are looking for in extras:
You must live in the Wellington area. Be over 17 years old and be allowed to legally work in NZ.
We are looking for MEN & WOMEN for a VARIETY of characters
• MEN – under 5’4” (163cm)
• WOMEN – under 5” (155cm)
• BIG MEN – with character faces – 5’9 and over (175cm+)
• MEN with LARGE biceps any height.
• WOMEN with character faces and long hair
• MEN & WOMEN – ELVES slim, athletic, 5’5” – 6’4” (165 – 203cm)
