Actors & Actor/Tour Managers Needed for Fall & Winter Season – Paid Position
Timeless Tales Theatre – A professional non-equity traveling theatre company performing for school organizations in the Tampa Bay area for over 15 years is seeking local experienced adult actors and actor/tour managers for our fall & winter season.
Roles – Experienced male and female actors between the ages of 21 and young looking mid 30’s to play various characters in three different shows scheduled throughout the season. Needed are responsible energetic actors with good comedic timing who are not afraid to act silly and enjoy performing for children.
Actor/Tour Manager – In addition to being an experienced actor, we are seeking someone who is friendly, organized and dependable and who can adapt to various situations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, checking in with the organizers at each performance location and ensuring that each show is set up safely, properly and begins on time.
Show Dates – Season runs August 28, 2103 through January 31, 2014. We are casting three different shows during the four month season. Shows are scheduled every day, Mondays through Fridays, at various times in the mornings and afternoons. There will be no evening or weekend shows.
Rehearsal Schedule – August 12th through August 27th. We try to schedule rehearsals in the afternoon during the week. Specific days and times will be worked out once the show is cast.
Show Pay – All actors are paid per performance. We average approximately 5 – 8 shows per week if not more. The holiday shows are usually busier. Actors must have their own reliable car and live local. Housing is not provided.
Auditions – Now through August 11th. Auditions will be held by appointment only. No preparation is needed. A reading will be provided. Singing not necessary but a plus.
