Elaine and I met in a serendipity way. We went through many ups and downs in our relationship. Ironically, upon our first visit to the Riviera Maya, we not only fell in love with the area, we rekindled our love for each other. Our connection to the place became strong where we went back six months later and are going to marry there this May.
We are adventurous and feed of the thrill of living life. She always imagined herself in a reality show. So when it was time to propose to her, I did so in a reality show method. It starts off as an “Amazing Race,” then “Minute-to-Win-It,” “Cash Cab,” and “Survivor” all molded into one reality proposal. The premise of it was to race around San Francisco and in order to proceed to the next challenge and spot, she would have to answer the question correctly. Needless to say, she completed the race and I was at the final spot (AT&T Ball park) where I proposed to her.
