Paid Extras Wanted – Casting Call for Anchorman 2.
The sequel to “Anchorman” starring Will Ferrel will begin shooting in Atlanta GA next month.
“Anchorman 2” also called “Anchorman: The Legend Continues” has reunited the original cast. The comedy about a news show in the 70’s has an all star cast which includes Will Farrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Christina Applegate and Kristen Wiig.
Producers for Anchorman 2 are now looking for extras in the Atlanta area that have that 1970’s vibe. Do you have a distinct 1970’s / 1980’8 look? Do you have a fro, huge sideburns, or that classic 70’s mustache? Do people often use the word ‘groovy’ to describe your look? If so, producers of the movie may want to hear from you.
The movie is hiring lots of paid extras to work on the film. “Anchorman 2” will be shooting in the Atlanta area from March through May 2013. Please only apply if you live around the Atlanta area, are 18 or older and are available to work those dates.
The film is also seeking extras that can ride bicycles very well, cars from the late 60’s to early 80’s, females with 1970’s Farrah Fawcett hair.
Also, the film is looking for African American dancers with ‘Soul Train’ dance skills.
