Royal Expressions Contemporary Ballet is entering its 5th season! Join us as we celebrate 5 years! This season is special because we will be restaging our debut production, Journey to Become and doing an encore presentation of BLOOM. Professional, passionate, and skilled dancers are needed to make this production a success. Both productions are choreographed by Princess Johnson. Johnson’s choreography uses the precision of ballet with the energy of jazz and the fluidity of contemporary dance. She has intricate, quirky, yet graceful choreography that touches the heart of her audience. Dancers interested in this company must be able to successfully perform the movement, but also perform with passion and conviction.
We are looking for professional dancers with experience in ballet, contemporary, and jazz. Pointe is not required, but is a plus! All auditioners are asked to bring a headshot and resume. The audition will start promptly at 8 AM. Doors open at 7:30 AM. Auditions will be held at Royal Expressions School of Dance at 1220-E Battleground Ave, Greensboro, NC 27408.
What to bring: Ballet shoes, jazz shoes, head shot, resume, and a positive attitude!
Dancers will be paid per performance. Pay for rehearsal time is TBD based on funding.
