Ava Fratus has started 2013 off with a bang! Ava is a sassy 6 year old with Style and more swag then you could possibly imagine. At 6 years old, Ava has 2 original songs, one cover and is currently working on a forth original to complete her set.
Over the past two months, Ava has had the opportunity to work with some of the best performers in Boston. Ava debuted her hot new single “Hands and Feet” as part of an all star line up at the Brand UR first Birthday Bash! Ava shared the stage with Paisley Dickey and the Tiara Twins from TLC’s hit Tv show Toddlers & Tiara’s, kutroc recording artists Mateo, Kitarah, Maverik from JAMN 94.5, Lynda Rose and B-Capp. Ava appeared at Boston versus bullies with Xfactors Jillian Jensen and was a special guest dancer of super talented Kenzie at Jamfest 2013. Ava will be appearing in Starbound magazine and is scheduled to perform at Tunes for Tots with popALERT.

Ava is booking shows into the summer at this time.
Ava already has 3 back up dancers, however, due to the fact that Ava is booking a lot of shows, and this is a busy time of year for many families, we have decided that we would like to have a total of 4 dancers and possibly one alternate. Please Note: THIS IS NOT A GROUP! Ava Fratus is a solo artist with back up dancers. We will be auditing 1-2 girls who look like they are between the ages of 6 and 8 and LOVE to dance! We are not looking for the best dancers in the Country, however, they must get along well with others their age, be well behaved, able to take direction well, have a good personality and a beautiful smile! These are the qualities all candidates MUST show while auditioning.
Rehearsals will most likely begin in April and will be on Saturdays in Attleboro, Ma. At this point, the choreography will be basic so as long as your child is coordinated and enjoys dancing, they will do well. The audition will entail a very basic dance routine followed by an interview. The interview will also be very basic. We just want to hear from all candidates that this is something that they are interested in doing. If they are not able to answer basic questions, they probably are not ready to be on stage performing for large audiences.

If your child is chosen as one of Ava’s dancers, she will be responsible for attending all rehearsals and as many shows as possible. Parents, you will be responsible for getting your child to and from rehearsals and performances on time. Ava’s shows will be located in different parts of new England. Failure to do so will result in termination from the team.
Parents will also be responsible for purchasing clothing needed for shows. Our goal will be to have 3 or 4 outfits to rotate. Prices will be reasonable and you will have sufficient notice before payment is due. At this time, this is NOT a paid gig. As time goes on and Ava begins doing shows that she is getting paid for, it will be our goal to have the dancers be paid as well. A meeting will take place and we will most likely have a performance contract, with your child. Please understand that this is NOT a hobby. This is the beginning of something HUGE. Failure to meet all expectations will result in termination from being one of Ava’s dancers.

The audition will take place on Saturday MARCH 30TH at 12:30 P.M. Please plan on arriving 15 minutes early. All candidates must book an audition. No walk ins will be seen. Girls should arrive in comfortable dance attire, jazz, ballet shoes or barefoot, with hair pulled back and a water bottle. The two girls that are chosen will be contacted and offered a spot as a permanent dancer or as an alternate. It is very important that you and your child understand what an alternate means. As our alternate, your child will be required to attend all rehearsals but will not be in all of the shows. They will be used as a substitute to fill in when one of the permanent dancers are not available. If your child already has a busy schedule, this will not work for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Thank you for your interest in becoming one of Ava’s dancers. This is just the beginning!
