Butoh Dancer/Actress (female) needed for Narrative performance video
Looking for someone with experience in Butoh to perform Butoh on camera (On the theme of trauma and historical tragedy, suffering and memory). The piece includes exchanging dialogue with off-camera actor. The character of the filmmaker attempting to provoke a more intense performance brings up a profoundly traumatic incident from the dancer’s past.
There is no pay. The piece of potentially part of larger worker comprised of short, thematically related pieces. Please send photo and resume (Or description of yourself, training, experience or relevant background).
