CALABASAS SUMMER THEATER PRESENTS…
THE MUSIC MAN
AUDITION DATES – JUNE 4TH & 5TH
CALLBACKS – JUNE 7TH (and 8th, if necessary)
SHOW DATES – JULY 25TH, 26TH, AND 27TH
All students wishing to audition must schedule an audition time. At your audition, you will perform a song and monologue. Dance auditions will happen at the callback.
SINGING – You will be expected to prepare any song (16 bars) within the Broadway genre. You may bring in sheet music for the accompanist or you may sing your audition piece with a musical track.
During callbacks you will be given selected pieces from the show.
ACTING – You will be expected to prepare a one-minute comedic monologue. During callbacks, you will be given a scene to perform from the show.
DANCING – You will be expected to learn a short dance routine and perform it on the day of callbacks. It is strongly recommended that you wear shoes and clothing that you can move well in. We suggest that you bring bottled.
