Students at the Art Institute of Houston are casting for the Comedy/Drama short film, “MOTHER & DAUGHTER”!!!
Synopsis:
When a flat tire leaves them stranded, a mother and daughter with a strained relationship must figure out a way to deal with each other as they wait for help. What seems like a bad situation may actually be the best thing that could ever happen to them.
Roles available for Casting:
DONNA, Female AGE: 35-40, White. An overprotective young mother.
HEATHER, Female AGE: 17-21, White. A rebellious and materialistic teenager.
DRIVER, Male AGE: 30-65, ANY ETHNICITY. A friendly passerby.
Auditions for these parts will be held on MAY 9th at 7:00pm-10:00pm at the Art Institute of Houston; located at 4041 Southwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77027.
Please be sure to bring any headshot(s)/resume/demo reel(s) along with you. A copy of the script will be available for read throughs.

At the moment, the shooting schedule calls for 5 days of shooting: May 19, 20, 22, 24, and 25th.
As this is a student film, this will be a Non-Paying endeavor for the actors cast in the roles. However, you will be compensated with a film credit, a DVD copy of the completed film (great for Demo reels), and an invitation for the premiere screening!!!
Snacks and beverages will also be available at all of the filming locations.
