Casting Call for short film –
We are filming January 11th, 12th and 13th in Durham, NC. These are non-paying roles, but you will receive credit and a copy of the film. The film will also be sent for screening at a number of different film festivals. Please respond to this post with your headshot/resume and your character interest(s). Casting will be ongoing until January 10th.
Rob (18 – 29) – The younger friend who can’t seem to stay out of trouble. He is more interested in hustling than making good choices.
Russell (30 -40) – Older friend who’s lived a rough life in the streets and warns Rob of the same mistakes. He has gotten himself together and now owns his own bookstore.
J.P (18 – 29) – The friend of Rob, who wants to get revenge on Rob’s behalf.
Joe (50 and up) – Mysterious older man that comes into the book store everyday.
Lynn (20 – 35) – Attractive, sassy.
Mr. Raleigh (50 and up)- kind man who owns a grocery market, and saves Russell’s life.
