CASTING NOTICE
PROJECT: LOVE, ELIAS
DESCRIPTION: Magical realist romance with elements of cerebral horror about ELIAS 20s who has been left in the woods by his father to die. He successfully builds a life for himself in the woods, but when he encounters an alluring female GHOST 20s he must choose between love and death – or are they one and the same? Non-union Independent Student Short.
FORMAT: Super 16 or 35mm film stock
ROLES: ELIAS 20s male African American or Caucasian LEAD, vigorous, romantic poet hero, timeless in his style and appearance. The Ghost 20s female LEAD Caucasian preferably blonde or red-haired, ethereal, angelic. Dance training a plus.
