Join the wise-cracking, lip-smacking, attitude-talking puppets, Hampton & La Kwinta as they celebrate the holiday season with a ghettofied-Muppet-inspired Christmas musical. The illustrious Mrs. Claus bares her spoken word skills as Flava Ice & the Sorbets tear the house down with their new single ‘Shaved Ice Tonight.’ A gassy reindeer, bible-thumping old ladies, & crazy relatives round out this sarcastic & whimsical pop culture free-for-all.
Rehearsals:
November 1 – December 4, 2013
Thursdays – 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Fridays – 6:30pm – 9:00pm
Saturdays – 4:00pm – 7:00pm

*The audition will consist of a cold reading from the script as well as a short vocal range test & some rapping for those interested in the roles of Flava Ice, Honey Dew, or Tutti Frutti. Those wishing to audition for a puppet role will need to be prepared to do a cold reading from the script with a rehearsal puppet on hand.

MRS. CLAUS (f, 13+)
A performance artist with a talent for the spoken word – slightly off-center personality
MOODY the ELF (f, 9-12)
Mrs. Claus’ depressed scene partner – is obviously quite ‘moody’ & depressed
PATTY PRESENT (f, 12+)
An effervescent & annoyingly bubbly young lady dressed in a Christmas present costume
TIFFY TREE (f, 12+)
Another annoying ‘popular’ girl (almost cheerleader-like) dressed in a Christmas tree costume
FLAVA ICE (m/f, 12+)
A rap artist
HONEY DEW (f, 9+)
One of the Sorbets (the back-up singers) for Flava Ice
TUTTI FRUTTI (f, 9+)

VELMA (m/f, 12+)
A grouchy old woman with a gravelly voice

Hi my name is Angelynn Miers . I am 15 years old and I am represented by Barbizon USA. The E-Mail above is my step moms and I hope you use the numbers I give you later. I have worked with Audition America also as an Intern. I have not received my contract with them because I had no time to perform a talent. I’ve always loved singing, growing up, but the only experience I have is with my choir. I am also a dancer, there are so many moves I can do for you, for example leaps, turns/spins/twirls.. So I hope you are willing to give me a chance to perform your play it would be a good thing for my a career and a great play for you in the end. I’m so excited, I would really love to audition for you . This has been my dream and wish since I started walking. I hope one day I end up on movies and commercials.
