HARPER ENSEMBLE THEATRE COMPANY auditions for the role of Hoke Coleburn in our summer production of Driving Miss Daisy by Alfred Uhry, on July 8 and 9, 2013 from 7-9pm at the Harper College Liberal Arts Center Drama Lab located at 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine, IL (Building L, room L109), parking lot #2. Director Kevin Long seeks an African American male actor for the role of Hoke Coleburn. The actor needs to believably portray a man from age 60-80. Please note that the director and his staff are committed to creating a professional atmosphere and rehearsal process. You do not need to be a Harper College student to audition. Company Meeting Monday, July 15. Rehearsals (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-10pm) begin on July 16, with the production opening August 30, 2013 and running through September 8, 2013. Please prepare a 3-5 minute monologue. Bring H/R. Callbacks (by invitation only – if needed) will take place on Thursday, July 11 from 7-10pm.
