I’m casting a few roles (for adults, not children) in a movie I will be directing in Belleville, Illinois in October. Tentatively, the movie is actually called “Belleville.” It’s a PG-13 story about a man who lost his wife five years ago and has become a recluse. Through a mysterious visitor arriving on his farm, he finally rediscovers his will to live.
Most of my lead actors will be from Los Angeles, but I’m open to finding some amazing local talent in St. Louis. This is a non-union feature. SAG actors must go financial core to participate. There will not be any pay for the role, regardless of size – but its certainly an invaluable opportunity to star in a full length feature that will be widely seen, in and out of Hollywood.
A film I wrote and produced in 2009 is about to be released in the coming months. “Jesus People” stars Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer (The Help), Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids), Tim Bagley (Knocked Up), and Mindy Sterling (Austin Powers), among many others.

I will be holding auditions on Tuesday and Wednesday in St. Louis. Multiple roles, ages 35+, all races and types. If you have any VERY talented actors (in the art of film acting – not stage acting), please send me their info by Monday at noon. I haven’t found a place yet to hold auditions, but I will by then.
