WHAT IS IT FOR?
We are filming a commercial and doing market research for our new app/toy combo. We have limited availability for qualified applicants so don’t delay. No prior TV or Print experience necessary…you only have to be a young child between the ages of 6 and 10 who loves playing with cars and/or love their iPhone or iPod Touch apps.
WHAT WILL THEY BE ASKED TO DO?
Children will be asked to play with our new toy/app combo — that’s it. We will take footage from an observation perspective. . .some will be interviewed and/or asked questions by roving Moderators assisting and ensuring everyone is having a good time.
There will be an exciting environment with lots of toys, huge city and track setup to play with, big screen TV, entertainment app and games, snacks, gifts and much more.
We want your child’s opinion on what they think of the toy and observe how they play with it. We are definitely in the Golden Age of toys where what once was something static is now opening up into new and inventive ways to interact with them. It would be awesome if your children would come and try it out for us. We think it is loads of fun but we want their opinion too.
WHAT WILL BE REQUIRED?
Everyone participating will need to sign a waiver. However, not all participants will be interviewed and/or part of the final product (film and stills).
Nevertheless, everyone will receive a:
-Free T-shirt (please send your child’s size in your reservation email)
-Free Toy (not available in stores yet)
-Free Stickers (also, not available in stores)
-Free App (must have an iPhone 4/S or iPod Touch 4th Generation)
And get paid $40 per hour for anyone staying longer than 1hr (most will be there 45 mins or so; a select group will be asked to stay longer – max. payout $200). . .to make it easy and eliminate the paperwork, those that stay under 1hr will be given two general admission tickets to any Regal Movie Theater (retail value $26). The select group asked to stay longer will be paid cash at the end of the day.
WHERE AND WHEN?
At the historic Alberta Abbey in the heart of NE Portland on November 16th between the hours of 11am and 4pm.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a local Portland Startup company dedicated to saving old devices from a gruesome death. We have invented products that we want to take to market but need input on how it will be received.
Send us an email with your child’s first name and age and a brief description why it should be your child that attends, and we will reply with the reservation number and preferred time slot that we would like for you to attend.
