Open casting call for a major feature film in Texas

A major feature film will be filming in central Texas this fall and Vicky Boone Casting Company of Austin, Texas, is seeking extras who can work on the film set. The open casting call will be held in Killeen Texas on Saturday.

The company is looking for regular people, non-actors, to be extras and featured extras. All ethnicities are welcome but you need to be at least 18 years old. Sorry, they are not seeking kids or teens for the job at this time. The company is looking for all age ranges between 20 and retiree aged.

The casting directors are looking for all different types which include: military spouses, adventurers, travelers, single moms, drinking buddies, motorcyclists and gamblers. The production is also looking for people who have a background in law enforcement.

All extras will be paid and some extras may end up with larger roles. The casting call is seeking people who have interesting or unusual lives that they could feature in the film.

This is an open call and if you would like a shot at a spot in this film, you simply need to show up. Those that attend will have a short interview with the casting director and some people may be video taped. It is always a good idea to bring a photo of yourself that you can leave with the casting directors.
